Proud Inform clients, the Patersons are very pleased to have recently moved into their new home in Camberwell.
“We love it!” Angela Paterson said, “It’s a really easy house to look after and entertain in.”
Angela particularly loves how the wide-open spaces allow for a lot of natural light internally.
“It’s light and bright – it’s warm when you need it to be warm and lovely in summer as well.”
Her favourite part of the house is the open-plan living area, connecting the kitchen, dining and lounge area as one large space, which allows “space for all the family” Angela says.
Where the hallway connects to the living area, Consultant David Lawn and Architect Leon Meyer helped the Patersons design a step down, allowing for a higher ceiling to optimise the open-plan living space.
“[It has] a really lovely open feel,” Angela said. “We spend a lot of time here.”
When asked about her experience in dealing with Inform throughout each stage of the process, Angela’s response was very positive.
Angela said that dealing with Inform during the pre-construction phase was “fantastic.”
“We were actually going with another building company, but we got really frustrated with the process” Angela said.
“We switched to Inform because we always liked the designs, but thought it would be over our budget, but it wasn’t.”
In addition, Informs communication with the Patersons and dedication to completing the house was assuring for the family.
“We were driving by just about everyday to see what was happening and there was always somebody on site, which was really good” Angela said.
So, why did Angela choose Inform?
“We’ve noticed the designs in the area and the houses have a specific look about them which we really liked,” she said.
“[Inform] was more of a boutique builder, not doing lots and lots of projects so they were able to concentrate fully on our project.”
Unlike Inform, many building companies involve liaising with four or five Consultants during the pre-construction process.
Inform offer a more personalised service, where you will deal with one Consultant during pre-construction, and there on, liaising with just one Supervisor.
“We’re hoping to [build with Inform] again one day, we can’t think of anything bad to say, it was a very smooth process.
“We really love our house!”
